The song explores fragility and despair, as well as the determination and hope that emerge from them. Its black-and-white imagery reflects a swirl of emotions in which light and darkness coexist. Beginning with simple melodies and chords that evoke the repetition of everyday life, the music gradually opens into a much larger world. I believe we created a song that captures that contrast.
