From NEO-Geisha solo performance “MIWAKU”

I was responsible for composition, arrangement (track production), and final mix.

This was composed for the November 2019 solo performance of “NEO-Geisha,” a performance group known for their otherworldly movements including robot and slow-motion dance, who have appeared on shows such as America’s Got Talent.

Used as the finale of the performance, it featured animation dance along with live shamisen performance by national shamisen champion Daichi Hikida and performances by Human Beatbox world champion Gene Shinozaki, among others.

The track combines Future House sounds and robot-like bass and lead phrases performed on the Seaboard BLOCK, with live shamisen performance and pentatonic phrases, creating a world where traditional Japan meets the near future.
